Hello everyone,
It’s been a while since last posting but never fear Samson has been keeping a few posts coming up on the site and what-have-you. I’ve been kicking back, relaxing and just chilling really. It’s currently day 4 of the 2 week mini-holiday with Samson and so far, things are going well. We’ve not killed each other and domestic equilibrium has been established. It’s fair to say that if we were long-term room-mates I don’t think either of us would be forced to use the other’s empty skull as a cereal bowl…
Samson has just popped out to see his Grandparents which leaves me a tonne of time to get a blog post sorted for y’all. Anyway, it’s been great probably just as much a mini-break for my folks at home as it is for me, plus it’s always fun to stay with friends and chill out for a few days. Hopefully Samson is in agreement and doesn’t want to stove my head in with a bit of rusty pipe…
So tomorrow I start my second part-time job, going to be selling books online of all things. Went to the interview-y type effort the other week and I was astounded it’s a truly magnificent operation. There are just so many books it’s like a mini-library there. The people are lovely as well, which is always a bonus and I can honestly say that I’m looking forward to starting. On the work-front, I’ve been looking for a new job. I need more of the wonderful cash-stuff. At the moment it’s really not coming in enough, which is not good. So I’ve been looking and relatively successfully as well. I’ve fired off a few applications to here and there and, with a sprinkle of luck, I can bag one of them.
So yeah, that’s pretty much it, got the Star Wars weekend tomorrow as well, which will be awesome, eating far too much, drinking probably more than is feasible and generally having a grand time chilling with some buddies.
I keep promising to finish my review and I will, at some point. Also I keep promising that I’ll finish the website design. I should probably get around to that at some point, hopefully the rest of it won’t be too much of a pain…

WHAT!!! I’m writing a blog post and it’s not stupid o clock at night =O that can’t be right. My new hard drive came yesterday to replace my slowly dying C drive which has not been sounding healthy for a while now (CLICK CLICK CRUNCH!!), so yesterday evening I unplugged my secondly drive just to be sure my C drive was the one clicking and it was, so I plugged the drive back in and booted my PC one last time before cloning the hard drive and BANG! “BOOTMGR is missing” oh great so I had to fix that and well it managed to boot into windows once before coming up again and again! *Sigh* so seeing how this drive has an almost 3 year old windows installation on it anyways and it’s not really stable enough to clone safely I might as well just do a fresh install on my new hard drive and plonk my old C drive in to copy files off later. The timing was great though to purchase a new hard drive.
Also yesterday evening I had a lovely Spaghetti Bolognese which Martin cooked and I helped lol was mountains of the stuff and we ate it all, I was very manly and brought some Ben & Jerry’s ice cream which we had (yeah I like Baileys and Ben & Jerry’s, quiet you) I would recommend Martins Spaghetti Bolognese very nice indeed, I guess I better cook something tonight I’m thinking curry as its been ages since I’ve made a curry. Star Wars marathon night is coming together slowly now going to do some baking with Alice on Friday and possibly bake some Star Wars related items SO WIZARD!!! Now I better get back to installing Windows before I go off volunteering.

Well it’s been a fun weekend indeed. On Saturday I finished my volunteering at 5pm and then met up with Martin who has moved in with me for 2 weeks. Then at 7 Martin, Alice and I met up with our old computing class from college (Aaron, Mat, sadly Martin.F and Jeff couldn’t make it) and we had a bloody good time didn’t leave until 11. It was great catching up with them and I hope we can do it again soon hopefully with all of the group next time. Then once Martin and I got home we stayed up until half 4 sorting out my old HD2 which Martin will be slowly buying off me XD and we watched a good deal of Robot Chicken (like we did tonight haha)
Yesterday morning Martin gave me a call on my mobile to wake me up we had some food and swapped very un P.C jokes, then when we had lunch (tortilla wraps) Martin sprayed me with tomato juice while biting down on a little baby tomato and the pips went ALL OVER ME my god it was hilarious!!! After a change of t shirt we gave Alice a ring and decided to have a BBQ seeing as the weather was lovely so we went over to Alice’s and had a very nice BBQ indeed and spent a lot of the time playing with our phone because we’re just cool like that! Got home at 9ish and watched a whole load of Robot Chicken which had us both in tears it’s just so funny and ever so dark, I would recommend it if you have a dark sense of humour like Martin and I. Have to say the next two weeks are going to be excellent! Now I better be off to sleep as yes its late (2:38AM to be exact) and I’m posting on the site again. Until next time.

Mornin’ Everybody!
Today is the day of my fathers birth! Not physically, that would be weird to have been born before my own father, but today is his annual celebration of being born! So Happy Birthday Dad!
Right, now that’s done time to get down to the gritty updating process! I’ve been working on the new website design for the last few days and it’s coming along rather nicely, we’ve had some good constructive feedback about the whole thing and it’s shaping up to be ready within the next couple of days. Then the hard part begins, actually constructing the sodding thing. Luckily we have a secret weapon in the form of a human coding machine!
So with any luck the new website will be up and running within a very short amount of time. Today, I’m taking a sort-of break, going to pack for the next 2 weeks staying at Samson’s place. Whereupon many ‘lols’ will ensue and we shall probably have many a geek-out either watching Star (Wars/Trek), LANning it up or just chilling and sorting stuff for PillowMint. However tonight, I believe we are off out for a meal at ‘The May Tree’ in Helston, which will be most delightful I’m sure.
Time to go have me a boiled egg and some toast, followed by packing and then heading off into the swarming metropolis of Helston.
