Hello everybody,
I have been indulging myself in the sun today, it’s been glorious weather and so I decided to lie outside in the garden, listen to some Harry Potter Audiobookage and work on my tan. It was far too hot for a walk in the end, I was sweating enough just being stationary in the sun. Anyway, I digress, it turns out that I am appallingly bad at admitting I have sunburn.
After a good few hours lounging around, hearing about Ron and Harry’s lucky escape from the Whomping Willow, Professor Snape and almost certain expulsion, it was time to come in. See, when you’re literally just sat there, doing nothing and allowing the sun to attack you constantly with no shelter of any kind you tend to get burned quicker, or at least I do. So walk indoors, talking to my good buddy Samson on the phone and I sit down. OH DEAR GOD THE PAIN!
I didn’t realise it at the time of sun-indulgence , but I had effectively become a human lobster, cooking myself thoroughly and now my spine is quite literally on fire…
It’s been quite uneventful really, not been doing a fantastic amount of… well… anything. Oh wait, I broke the site today! Yay! I wanted to turn off the redundant logins, time and stuff at the top, where a much more useful banner could go, however, deleting those lines of code ballsed the site up entirely. I managed to do it in the end with a series of backups and a lot of swearing and with a bit of a nudge from my friend Edd, I now have an appropriately sized and placed banner, which will be replaced with the full one, when I can:
a) Be arsed to make it
b) Have done more work to the Blog and the ‘Site’ site. And:
c) Can actually think what to do as a banner, I’ve got the text down and the lil’ leaf but now what? I’ll have to have a think on that. Anyway, that was today, broken spine which is now looking like Thousand Island Sauce (also explains the title) and broken website, which is now repaired.
Time to kick back and chill out, might do some photoshopping later, depends how lazy I feel. Oh and for all you Steam users out there, I’ll be shoving up a Pillowmint Steam Group soon! Yaay!
