Welcome everyone.
I do hope you have all enjoyed your weekend and hopefully it’s been productive/enjoyable/fun/exciting/scary (delete as appropriate). My weekend was both productive, enjoyable and excruciatingly painful. As I mentioned on Friday, I had a little run-in with some solar radiation, unfortunately my puny human flesh was no match and as such this happened:

Bloody painful I tell ye, as you can clearly see regular flesh colour is where my shorts were bunched up on the sun lounger and the red is where I was effectively microwaved…
So that’s the pain out of the way, the productivity and enjoyment all came about on Saturday where I met up with our new Author Samson, you’ve already read that post so I’m not going to bore you again with the details. Anyway, we sat down and drew up the design for the new site on a food-order slip:

It’s very basic and will probably change at some point because I’m a picky sod and it takes me years to make up my mind about these kinds of things. I’ll be photoshopping up a proper mock-up in the next few days when the insomnia hits again I reckon.
Anway, Samson, Alice (my Girlfriend <3) and I met up with some friends later in the evening where we had a very nice time, listened to some karaoke, played some ‘Angry Birds’ and generally had a laugh.
I know it may not sound like much of a weekend, and it’s certainly not given me anything to rant about and it’s great to see my friends and have a nice chilled out time. It’s a shame that I don’t get to see as many of my older friends as much as I’d like but I’m sure we’ll all meet up again soon. Hopefully you read this and I’ve not just used up a bunch of words waffling…. Wait… Isn’t that what a blog is for? Incessant waffling?
Hrrm, time to think on that a little. I shall write again soon. So be warned….
