So, I was thinking last night as I was looking at my new (and now working) PC, what else could I write about for a content filler as I have nothing fun to write about these days, so it would seem. REVIEWS! That’s what I could do and so here for a first review; I’m going to do the album Scars and Souvenirs by Theory of a Deadman.
The band spawned out of Canada latching on to (Nickelback) Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records and has gradually gained popularity and has now started showing itsself in the UK. I found this band through a friend about 2 weeks ago and have been hooked to their music since. In my eyes, certainly, much better than Nickleback.
As for the new album from the band, this is an amazing mixture of soft and hard rock and compliments their two previous albums brilliantly, bringing with it the experience from the two and learning from them. There has been a lot of critisism about the album being too mainstream and that the band has gone down the ‘pop’ road like Nickleback but I say that it’s a load of arse.
I have, in fact, now listened to all 3 albums and enjoyed each one, not had a single problem with any of the songs on them.
Out of a possible 10 I give Theory of a Deadman’s Scars and Souvenirs a 9.5.

No, I’m not dead… Thanks to everyone who emailed to ask if I was. In fact I have just been incredibly busy and annoyed recently. So I promised you photos of my new machine which would belt the living christ out of most PCs today, however, due to a faulty motherboard AND power supply, I currently do not have it. I am picking it up tonight 
One is most pleased at this. Anyway, thought I had better announce that I am still living and will probably update this post later when I can be arsed.

That is a quote from Eddie Izzard, in case you were wondering that my absence was because of a spiritual breakthrough/enlightenment. Well, it’s not, I haven’t updated in a while because there was simply nothing interesting to write about. To be honest there really isn’t much interesting now but I’ll waffle on trying to amuse you all at the expense of my poor withered fingers.
Okay, so, new stuff… Umm, we have a facebook group now so I want you all to scurry off and join the fun. I’m in the process of making a new front-page and images and fixing various annoyances on the site causing so many of you to email me complaining like children that have just been pushed over. I think that’s about it for new stuff really.
Work and college have been going pretty well, I’m still hating my essay that I have to do and am trying to put off doing it as long as I can but unfortunately the time is coming up to get the bloody thing done and so tonight there will be work.
Speaking of tonight, I will be assembling my new black monolith! My PC parts have come through so no doubt tomorrow there will be a photographic update with spec list and a beaming smile on my face that can only mean that I can get work (and a little gaming maybe tehe) done at the speed of light, when light is late for an important dinner date with The Queen and an evening of clubbing with an extremely pretty girl.
Right, time to sod off and do something, playtime is officially over.
